About me:
Jorge was born wanting to make movies. He’s loved telling stories all his life to anyone who would listen and would find ways to sneak stories in places that weren’t called for. An example of this was when he was nine years old; he was told to write a book report on a novel chosen by the teacher. Too shy to ask what a “book report” was, Jorge simply decided to “write a book” and wrote twelve-page story unrelated to the assignment and got an A anyway.

Similar actions would be done during high school when there needed to be assignments written about a single word the teacher would give out weekly. Instead of writing a research paper or speaking about the word, he would write a very subtle story with the word as a theme and sometimes that single word never even written into the story. That was only one of three classes Jorge passed that year (Art Class and Physical Education being the others).

At 15, Jorge decided that he wanted to become a screenwriter and eventually a filmmaker. He spent all of his money on “How To” books regarding Independent film making and screenwriting and screenwriting software. After writing eight screenplays, he hit a serious case of writer’s block and stopped writing for years until discovering machinima in November of 2008.

One thing he never thought he’d be able to do is comedy. Now, it’s what he’s known for. He’s currently mostly known for his comedy series “The Clarks” which can be viewed at http://www.theclarksshow.com or his Vimeo page at http://www.vimeo.com/jorgecampos
