About me:
As a Project Manager at Madman Entertainment, Scott produced numerous DVD releases, television commercials, flash animations and podcasts, and gained a unique insight into the marketing and business end of Film and DVD distribution. In 2005 Scott produced and edited STALLED, staring Simon Lyndon, which won Best Director and Best Editor at the 2007 St Kilda Film Festival.

In 2007 he wrote, directed and Executive Produced LAPSE, staring Val Lehman, with funding through the RAW NERVE initiative. LAPSE has played at festivals all over the world and was an opening night film at the 2009 Adelaide shorts festival. In 2008 Scott received development funding to write the animation series THE LAST ANDY, produced the 20 min short drama HUNTED, and attended the Indivision Lab as Producer for feature project 100 BLOODY ACRES.

In 2009 Scott produced the Screen Australia funded short CELESTIAL AVENUE for which he won the Screen Producers Association of Australia / Showtime Talent Assist prize for best short film. Celestial Avenue has gone on to win the grand prize at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and recently played at the Slamdance Film Festival in Utah - the only Australian film on the program.

The Business Trip is Scott's second short film as writer/director. He is currently working at Media World Pictures editing and script coordinating the children's animated tv series Dogstar for channel 9.

Hi thanks! We recorded onto sd cards and then had a data wrangler copy them to a hardrive as well as laptop. From there he pulled the native files into compressor and made pro res files that we edited with in FCP. Hope that's helpful cheers!

Description:
Angela can't stand her ineffectual work colleague Dave. After a long haul flight and the realization that Dave has forgotten to book their hotel rooms, she's close to breaking point. A sympathetic hotelier offers them the only room left, it's a single and Dave snores horribly. This and an unexpected discovery will take Angela well beyond breaking point - but she's going to make damn sure David comes with her.
