I occasionally wax nostalgic for the smell of D-76, Dektol, sometimes even RA-4 fumes. Time constraints and expenses eventually led me to go Straight Digital. I still can't let go of some of my film stuff tho. Maybe one day I'll figure out Adobe's merge to HDR to work even better than the way I did variable contrast step filtering in the darkroom.

Oh, I almost forgot..Fairhope, AL, The good people at the Eastern Shore Art Center saw fit to sell or give away the darkroom equipment I had acquired over the course of twenty years to make room for an office. A little heads up would've been nice. Those vultures didn't even call to let me know. I had taught a few courses there and loaned my enlarger and stuff to ESAC to share with other instructors and members so that more people could work in the lab. I kept a small locked cabinet for primo lens's, MicroMega grain focuser, paper and such, and occasionally checked in on the stuff the last couple years while preoccupied with other matters. I wonder if it's too late to sue?
