About me:
I have a strong interest in video production -- it's my passion, and it's pretty much my life. I've explored quite a wide range of fields in video production -- from filmmaking to television news to advertising and corporate/industrial, I've done a little of everything.

Work Experience:
At the age of 15, I started producing a newscast for our local public access TV station, and ended up covering President George W. Bush's August 2004 campaign speech in Traverse City (according to press coordinators at the speech, I was the youngest reporter to date to gain a press pass to a presidential speech.) I've also worked as a freelance photojournalist for Cadillac's FOX affiliate, where I shot local interest stories for the News at 10 and occasionally filled in as a graphics operator during the live newscast. Currently, I run Freelancer Productions, where I produce various TV commercials, web sites, and promotional videos. I also spend a fair amount of time shooting feature stories for 9&10 News, the local CBS affiliate.
Film Experience:

At 14, I produced my first feature film... titled "Internet Detectives: Net Bandits," it was based on the book of the same title by Michael Coleman. While primitive by Hollywood standards, it was considered impressive work for such a young filmmaker.

Since then, I've produced numerous short films. For me, filmmaking is a fun hobby -- something to do when I'm tired of the day-to-day corporate/industrial work.
Awards:
I've won numerous awards for my news work. These include DV Awards, AEGIS Awards, and Aurora Awards, all for "Local Edition," a newscast I produced for the local cable system. I've also received two MAX Awards for some of the Corporate/Industrial videos I've produced.

Thanks. We originally put that in as filler, until we could get someone who spoke French decently to record the actual line. We ended up deciding to leave the "filler" audio in there; I liked the way it turned out! =)
